ReConnect with Plant Wisdom podcast | Ep.50 Life Support for Peopling with Human and Plant Persons

Ep.50 Life Support for Peopling with Human and Plant Persons

Creating intimacy is a challenge in any context, especially online. What does it take to create a safe space where you can open yourself to sharing and receiving with radical honesty? In this episode, I share with you how and why we need places for passionate life support.

If you’re here, I have no doubt that you don’t think or act like everyone else. And this can be scary. Bringing plants into the mix and maybe being a bit introverted–or at a minimum, highly sensitive–doesn’t always make you keen on sharing.

This is exactly why I created a place where you can be you in all your weird and wood. A place where plant consciousness, collective dreaming, out-of-the-box thinking can be expressed, on your own schedule. Be anonymous, participate actively, or anything in between is welcome.

Topics Covered about life support

  • Not all of us are extroverts, and even if we are, we still need quiet reflection
  • Creating safe space and intimacy online
  • Sacred space to create as a Being of Nature
  • Transspecies discussions with Humans and OtherKin

TRANSCRIPT OF LIFE SUPPORT FOR PEOPLING WITH HUMAN AND PLANT PERSONS

Welcome to ReConnect with Plant Wisdom. I am your host, Tigrilla Gardenia, Nature-Inspired Mentor and Leadership Coach. In this podcast, I share ancient and modern knowledge, from biology to spirituality, about the wondrous ways plants can help you lead a Naturally Conscious Life.

It’s me, Tigrilla, I got then, yeah. Yeah, this episode came from a really funny discussion and I hope Yeah, it just came from a funny.

For me, it came from a funny discussion. We have a lot of fun in the naturally conscious community and the other day we were having a discussion and we were talking about so this was in the naturally conscious leadership group as you know the naturally conscious leadership group as you know the naturally conscious leadership group.

So this was in the naturally conscious leadership group. As you know, the naturally conscious community is actually divided into ecotones or ecosystems like I think I called them I’ve called them bioregions before you know me and all my plant metaphors and ecosystem metaphors.

And so each one of them kind of layers on top of the other. So you have kind of a sprout central, which is, we call ourselves sprouts inside in the NCC and there’s a whole mythology and story around the idea of us being sprouts, which you can find when you join the naturally conscious community.

So we have our sprouts and then so Spot Central is the main one, then you have seedling sprouts and then blooming sprouts and then flourishing sprouts.

Inside of flourishing sprouts, which is the top tier that has everything in it, is the naturally conscious leadership group.

And so members of the nationally consciously conscious leadership group. Say that 3 times fast. Are people who have worked with me privately one on one before.

So everyone inside of NCLG has at some point been a one-on-one mentee.

And so I know these people very well and after all these years now that we’ve been in there together, we have some really great discussions.

And so the other day we were talking about the value of MCC of why is it that especially this group comes back over and over again year after year, what is it about all of the different activities that we do in at CC that makes them so valuable.

And one of the people in the group mentioned the idea that NCC makes peopling easy and we just started to crack up because this idea of peopling.

So this is episode 50 and episode 50 is really all about life support for peopling with human and plant persons.

Because that was exactly how she put it. She’s like, NCC is life support for peopling and we had of course ask her what you mean.

What is peopleing? This all came from and stems from a question that I was asking about creating intimacy online.

So as you know, living in dumb and her, I get to participate and be a part of a community that started off here in Italy.

And I actually live in Italy in what’s called the First City, the capital of Dom and her in general.

The donor has exploded over the last few years especially and it’s expanded all over the world.

We have initiates in almost every No, right now in every continent I can even say because we actually one of our initiatives is currently traveling on an Arctic sea vessel and she’s going from one pole to the other so she is in Antarctica I think in this particular moment because we just got a video from her the other day.

So we have initiates basically everywhere. We have communities that are sprouting up in Japan. There is an officially recognized community now, like a community of Dom and her there and there are ritual circles all around the world.

It’s amazing. It’s amazing to see this growth. But one of the things that of course has happened, especially during the pandemic and then to today is that so much of our stuff has moved online.

And for a community that was born around the idea of living together, sharing space together, of being together, the shift to the online world has been definitely challenging.

And I have the incredible privilege of being one of the people that gets called on to facilitate some of our bigger meetings when they have to be interactive.

So we meet in what’s called meta-action, which is our initiated path on a regular basis.

And then there are some of those meetings that get done in outside of the traditional format and maybe also there’s other bodies of Dom and her like the Game of Life or the International Circle where they’re looking to create much more dynamic events and experiences so that we can learn together in different ways.

And I have the incredible privilege of getting called in to facilitate these types of things because obviously the online space is my space.

I love the online space. So I was one of the myths that keeps getting kind of thrown around here, especially by some of our older members of the community, is the fact that you can’t create intimacy online and that they almost can’t see the value of being a part of an online community.

So I wanted to talk about what we have done in NCC and why how NCC has become that sacred container that that that place for vulnerability for building the life that you want that that trans species life that you want, a more interspecies.

Trans species. I’m going to have to play with these 2 words because I think it’s really trance.

I’ve been using interspecies, but now I’m starting to think it’s trans species because it’s really about humans and plants and eventually other kinds of beings, right?

Being all consciously together in that space. And so I was asking the group and the group was throwing back, what it was that made NCC so special for them and the reason why they came to NCC every single day to get nourished, to share, and to think.

And this concept came up of life support for people in. Really, that came from the perspective that not all of us, first of all, not all of us are extroverts.

Like I’m actually an introverted extrovert. I process extrovertedly, but I have to have a lot of downtime.

I’m a sensitive person, highly sensitive person, I’m a multi-potential, I have to have my moments of like in the spotlight and then retreat and I’ll spend 4 days without talking to anybody just hiding in my home and doing my own thing.

I’m a tourist. I love my home. My home is my safe space and I make it very cozy and it’s filled with art and it inspires me and all these types of things.

And my online space is created to be that way. Just this week, I’m actually when I’m filming this week, I’m teaching a course and in the course there is a whole series of people that are on video that are very public, that we’re having really amazing conversations, and there’s a few people off video.

That are new to the community. They’re not yet in that space. And so they’re just taking in their off video, but they’re there on the Zoom call and that’s fine too.

We have one person that comes to our book club for example that never shows their face, never has spoken.

They write every blue moon and that’s fine because it’s a person who that’s the way that they’ve chosen to accept it.

And so this comment that that N Andy made around peopling was really about the concept that, you know, not all of us know how to express.

These very Not just intimate, but also reality shifting concepts that we’re having around plants and around the intimacy of the relationship and around how you change.

If you remember in my last episode, I was talking about some of my main identity shifts. And some of those in the process that I was going through them were extremely frickin scary because I was sad and I was angry or I was judgmental of myself and all these different pieces and I wanted to process them, but maybe I wasn’t ready.

To talk through them, but I wanted to be an environment that nourished them. That aspect of having that safe space where I could interact in whatever way works for me.

Also the concepts that we’re talking about inside the naturally conscious community around plants are extremely.

Sensitive? Shifting, There some of them we don’t even know like We don’t actually know what a real complete holistic relationship with plants look like in many different areas of our lives.

We might know it from the perspective of I go into a forest and it’s a natural pristine forest and I go in a commune and I allow myself to be in my vegetable state and I meld in with the plants.

Maybe that part we sort of now start to understand that there’s communication to be had. There is experiences.

There’s learning as mentors and models and partners, all of that. But what about when it comes to my clothes?

What about when it comes to my furniture? What about when it comes to my food? These are all the difficult conversations around plant wisdom and around plants as persons that we’re still fleshing out as humans.

We’re going to make a lot of mistakes. We have to step inside of ourselves. Remember, I said last episode, right, radical honesty of I actually don’t know.

Not only that. Even if I have been in the I am in the middle of my plant reawakening.

I still am going to make mistakes. There is going to be products I’d buy that a plant was needlessly killed or killed in a way that was unethical if I really think about it.

Or was raised in a farm like environment in the negative connotation of that or an industrial environment that wasn’t.

The true expression of that plant or I’m going to have plants in my home that I overwater and kill.

Like there are things that are going to happen. And we’re not perfect, nor do we actually know what a true relationship at a hundred, you know, 360 degrees with plants.

What does that look like? We don’t know this yet. And so peopleing is not just human peopling.

When I, when she was saying life support for peopleling, she wasn’t talking only about human peopling, although that’s a part of it because we’re transforming, we’re looking at our limiting beliefs, we’re trying to understand who we are in this.

Multilayered, multi-dimensional trans species world. We’re trying to develop a relationship with other kin.

In a way that is respectful and that is in partnership. And we don’t even have the vocabulary for any of this yet.

So we need spaces. Where we can explore using different avenues in order to get that. Not everyone can actually transform or evolve in the moment that some of their eyes like people are looking at them.

Sometimes you need to first go inward. And but you need that stimulus, those mirrors.

I’ve talked about that multiple times, the idea that you have mirrors that are from all kinds of different perspectives, human mirrors and and plant mirrors and probably animal mirrors and all these different perspectives.

I need to take that in. So I want to have places where I can. Gather information, maybe I read posts.

Or I sit on a call that I don’t necessarily have to speak on and then maybe I allow others to like, you know, give me stimulus and then I take all that in.

Maybe there are moments when I have a concept and I want to get it out of me and I want to have a place where I don’t have to have all the right perfect words because maybe the vocabulary doesn’t even exist.

I mean, I just use the word other kin. I just discovered that word or trans species. I just discovered, I’ve always talked about trans discipline, actually not always, it’s been a few years because I, when I started working on biomimicry projects, I was working with somebody who had done her thesis, her PhD thesis on trans discipline projects.

And I learned the difference between interdisciplined or multi-disciplined versus trans-disciplined and I was like, that’s such an opening that feels so much more accepting and inclusive and and giving space to people’s individual perspectives.

And and their talents and letting each person kind of show themselves in the way they are. I haven’t thought about it in the sense of species, trans species groups.

You know, I thought about it as interspecies mixing, but trans species means I can give each species their own space, their own way of being, and include them as part of the project.

Or other kin rather than the more than human world, like even just kin and key as pronouns for plants.

All of this. Is a an experiment, a testing, a stretching out boundaries and we need places where we can have these conversations without.

Worrying about whether or not somebody else is going to be offended or is going to think about it in a negative light.

This is a place of experimentation. And so when I created NCC, that was really for experimentation and exploration and bringing in different data sources like the book club or creating some mini courses for us to work through or having really in-depth courses like reconnect with the plant kingdom that you could bring that data in and then Like let it simmer inside of you and still have a place where you could share your

ideas, your thoughts, your experiences. At your own pace. And live events so that you could really create an intimate group of people.

So even though we’re on these calls and many of us have not even met have never met in person, although that’s quickly changing because now as we get to know each other more and more we want to meet up and so but to have these spaces of interaction are extremely important.

If you’re here, if you’re listening to this or watching this, You’ve probably noticed that it’s humans.

We’ve strayed off the path. Let’s just be honest, right? We have totally strayed off the path.

We have forgotten our innate ability to to confidently deal with constantly changing conditions, right? The world is pull of constantly changing conditions.

And instead, we keep relying on outdated limiting beliefs that are hiding all of our talents because we have these conditioned rules of how to human.

Of how to be a person. And we are looking to now change that and we need places where I can be with others that are also looking to change this and where I don’t have to worry about being judged.

Or I don’t have to be worried about telling me that’s absolutely right or that’s absolutely wrong because honestly, none of us know.

I could have a conversation with a plant today that lives in my general area and get a response that is very localized to that plant’s experiences and where I am.

Now that experience has multiple generations that experience might connect through to the overall network that is, you know, Plant King Home, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t localized experiences that the plant might relate to me that therefore if I share with somebody else the plant that they’re working with might say, no, that doesn’t, that doesn’t work for me.

And that’s great. We want to share those experiences back and forth. I’m not going to tell that person that their plant is wrong, like they’re not going to tell me my plant, the plant I’m working with is wrong.

We now have another channel to be able to confront, to share, process back and forth to look at the differences compare and contrast and have those places to extract.

The actual lessons of plant wisdom to really learn of all from all of the natural world. So I felt we needed a place.

To a safe space. I live in community, but it’s also a spiritual community, so a sacred space.

And I, I do my best to create that sacred container to explore alternative ways of thinking and creating. As being of nature.

Not just looking to nature for guidance like biomimicry does, which is great, by the way.

I love biomimicry or bio-inspired design or plants inspired design or herbalism or all these types of different disciplines are wonderful ways to connect.

But once you start to reawaken to the idea that you’re a being of nature, your whole life starts to shift.

And so therefore, you need an environment that’s ripe with creativity and connections because none of this is going to come through the traditional human logic.

Right? Sure, I’m going to get insights here and there, but I also am going to see all these other things.

So I wanted to explore this trans speciousness in partnerships that honestly we’ve just lost them because of human exceptionalism, right?

If I put myself at the center of everything. Then I never get to see the richness of the whole.

I need a place where I can see other center points, whether it’s another human and whether or not I can see it from the perspective of a plants or maybe it’s the animal that came into the environment.

And so I need people to help me people better, to give me support in my peopleling as an individual as well as a whole.

And this is really what the naturally conscious community was founded for. I wanted an online ecosystem of nature conscious minds, and I use minds, not brains, not like minds.

So that could have a safe space where we could explore this deeper connection with the Plant King Home, everything that we’re learning, where we could bring the plants into the conversations.

Almost everyone in the naturally conscious community probably has at least one plant that we work with very closely. For me, it’s Spider Plant.

You’ve heard me talk about Spider Plant over the time or for those of you on video can see no name Dressenia behind me.

These are plants that have taught me incredible. Unexpected things. And sometimes these plants themselves want to share a message.

Sometimes I and just the vehicle, if you’ve ever done a plant, a plant music healing session with me, I tell you from the very beginning, my job in the plant music healing session is to be the human.

I’m hands for the device, the combination between spider plant and the music of the plant’s device.

And I’m also the one that if for whatever reason, which is very rare nowadays, because Spyer Plan has done hundreds of sessions, if spider plant can’t share with you what spider plant wants to say, then spider plant will pass it to me and I will put it into human terms.

If Spider Plant can’t get you to feel or experience or connect in to the actual direction or message that is being transmitted through that music, then Spider Plant will use me.

So I’m always present, but I am not the conductor of that particular type of session.

And we have had sessions like I am plants has moments that are like that, my 5 day challenge. Also the plant communication workshop that I do also has moments like that.

It’s a place for us to really access a place filled with guidance and mirrors and support from like-minded humans and other kin that are on this journey to lead a life of impact to achieve their life purpose, to make an impact in the world, either at their personal local level or at the global level.

So I really want, you know. I continuously pour all my energy into the naturally conscious community as a place where you can get access.

To broad reaching research. Every Friday when I do the live plant consciousness commentary, I scour for all of the latest research and thinking and application of the know-how that’s coming directly from science and arts and spirituality and I try to bring that all directly.

What is it that the plant can home is looking for us to learn in this particular moment? And what is the wisdom from there that will expand our human consciousness?

How do we exercise our creativity? How do we use that alternative way of experiencing the world through emotions, through the arts?

Through movement, through all these different mechanisms that allow us to more easily lean into alternative ways of thinking, right?

Because when we get to experiment with all these different forms, we can bring into being new designs and new ways of looking at this multi-species paradigm that we are now created, where the human gets taken out of the center space and the human then allows themselves to be a part of nature, to be a being in nature, but to also observe nature and to learn from nature, right?

I get to act on nature. I get to observe nature but I also get to be nature and creativity I feel and emotions are the mechanism for us to be able to step into that before our human logic and our conditioned mind tries to block the access to it.

I also want more than anything a place for free discussion and this Whenever I see this happening whenever I’m in a call like yesterday I was in a call and I actually left the call early because I had to go and the group wanted to stay and keep discussing what they were experiencing and I thought it was beautiful.

I made somebody else the host and I allowed them to continue on in that call because it’s beautiful.

I made somebody else the host and I allowed them to continue on in that call because it’s extremely important for others for you to share your ideas and test what you’re thinking.

With humans as well as with other kin, to build on the collective experiences that we’re all having.

The other day. In Dom and her in January. We did a really important magical operation. And at the end of these major operations we have an entire group of dreamers.

One day I can tell you about this in detail, ask me about it, but basically dreaming at Dom andher is one of the most important mechanisms for us to understand what is happening.

And so we have a whole group of different, there’s almost 50 dreamers of different types and specifically there’s one small group that analyzes and collects dreams because when you dream one thing personally It means something for your life for sure.

But when 50 or 100 people dream something very similar, that means that there’s something happening at the collective level and it’s amazingly powerful.

So after our operations, all of our magical operations, we collect all of the dreams for the following days in order to see patterns.

And it was beautiful. Our dreamers are very analytical. They had this giant spreadsheet with all of these major symbols and different elements of dreams and then they would check them off based on so what they would do is put the name of the person as the row and then they had the columns of all these different elements of all these different elements, colors, specific colors, specific animals, colors, specific colors, specific animals or

plants, specific colors, specific animals or colors, specific colors, specific animals or plants, or are you seeing, is it time, specific animals or plants?

Or are you seeing, is it time, is there a transport vehicle, or are you seeing, is it time? Is there a transport vehicle?

There’s all kinds of different things that you can look for in a dream. And then at the end they have the dream itself so that they could always refer back to the dream.

And they had this big spreadsheet of all of these different elements. And from there, they were able to see what was the outcome of the overall magical operation.

It’s very scientific in a lot of ways. I know that people think of magic as being, you know, something ephemeral and it is to a certain extent, but it has to, when you’re using alchemy and theological magic to deal with what’s happening on the physical plane, you need to have a way to know whether or not it was successful.

And this is one of the many mechanisms that we use. So in some ways, the naturally conscious community is doing the exact same thing with our relationship to other kin.

It is giving us a place where we can discuss uncomfortable and often unanswered questions, but also to compare and contrast what are our experiences so that we can find new avenues of exploration.

What are the new commonalities? What is coming into being in this paradigm, whether that’s through language or through experiences that people are having.

If many people are having the same dream with a specific plans or if many people are going out and having discussions with plants or learning about plants and coming back to the same conclusions, then you have pretty, you have much more confirmation that there is a shift that’s starting to happen in that and you can start to codify that and put it into our normal everyday vernacular.

And so, you know, this is extremely important and that goes to that that piece of collaboration, right, by collaborating with others, others from everything, again, plants and humans working together, we maximize our results and we can have fun doing it.

I mean, if you come to any of our calls, especially if you come to our writing group, our writing and creativity group, you’re gonna see that we laugh all of the time because we’re designing in where we’re writing about and exploring and making art around the idea of this new paradigm where we’re bringing the voice of plants out and they’re not all serious.

I mean, they are serious in the sense of it is changed. It’s important, it’s transformation, it’s evolution.

But the content can be a lot of fun in the process. There really is always something going on in NCC and this is an opportunity for you to reconnect, to expand, and honestly to talk because you might not have anybody to talk to about these types of things.

You might not have the opportunity to get this knowledge and and get this knowledge from multiple sources because again, I myself am coming from.

Just me, I’m coming from multiple sources as you already know, right? I’m a cobblest, I’m an initiate of the School of Medit Action from Dom and her.

I study spiritual physics. I’d study interpersonalities. I used to teach sacred geometry.

I used to teach astral travel. I mean, I’m bringing things in already. Plus, I’m an engineer and a musician and an artist and I have a scientific background, I’ve done design, I have a wide range, but beyond just me.

That’s why it’s not called TGD as network. It’s called the naturally conscious community because it’s made up of every single person that comes into the space.

You are the ones that put in what becomes the valuable resource that every other person gets out of it. So there’s always something going on.

And if you really want to blossom with us. I would love love, love, love for you to join the naturally conscious community.

All the details are in the show notes. Because what I wanna see is a ripple effect, a ripple effect that begins with you dropping your seed into this.

Extremely nourishing. Potting soil as you might call it. And then to see what sprouts.

And that’s exactly what we call ourselves. NCC sprouts, because a sprout can be the initial growth, but a sprout is any time you grow or expand or evolve a little bit more.

And so we are sprouts for that reason and we desperately, desperately, not just need, we really want.

Your impact, your insight in order for us to evolve faster. So I hope that you will join us in the naturally conscious community and that you will add your experience and your voice to the mix.

So that’s it. That’s it for now. Can you believe that this is the end of episode 50?

I still can’t believe that I have been doing this. For 50 weeks. I took a very short break.

In the middle. So we’ve been doing this for a little bit over a year actually, but it’s episode 50.

I’m I just, I’m giddy. I’m so thankful. I’m so grateful.

Please like, subscribe, leave a comment, and more probably share with your friends because all of this is for you.

And also remember to support our eco conscious business partners. I’m going to share one with you right now as we finish off.

I think we can all agree that music is the true universal language. In fact, what we think of as language is actually musicality.

And I would argue that plants may be the greatest composers of all. By using the music of the plants device, plants are now able to share their healing and communicate with us in a language we can understand.

Music of the plants now has different devices to experiment with, whether you’re a musician looking to play along with your plant friends, a healer who wants to enhance their practice or simply curious.

In the show notes, you’ll find a link to purchase the right device for you. Such as this.

Bamboo M. There are also all sorts of fun extras such as downloadable interspecies music and plant music merchandise.

So click on the link to the music of the plants in the show notes to discover how you can start making music with your plants today.
