Feeling Overwhelmed by Grief? Nature Has Answers–Watch Now

I hope this message finds you well. Here in Damanhur, we are in the middle of the Horusiadi—our annual spiritual Olympics. Super fun!

I’ve been enjoying the summer inspiration to work on something new I plan to unveil in the autumn. I so desperately want to tell you, but it is not ready yet. Soon… I promise!

In the meantime, what did you think about ep.70 of the ReConnect with Plant Wisdom podcast, What Nature Teaches Us About Grief? Here, I delve into the profound lessons nature offers when you are overwhelmed by grief of all kinds. Just as plants go through cycles of growth and decay, we, too, must allow ourselves to process our emotions fully. This episode explores how embracing each stage of grief is a vital part of our personal evolution.

👉For a peek into this topic, watch this short video from the episode about embracing grief’s recurring waves. In it, I share personal reflections on how grief continues to teach and transform us over time. Embrace the beauty in grief, and discover the wisdom it brings.

Grief isn’t a one-time event but a recurring wave that helps us reassess our life choices. I reflect on how nature’s cycles mirror our own experiences of loss and discuss the importance of giving ourselves space and time to metabolize.

By allowing grief to surface repeatedly, we gain new perspectives and reaffirm the decisions shaping our lives today.

Or if you’re low on time, watch shorts here.

Unexpected Encounters with Mythical Friends

On a recent outing with Plimpk, we ran into another famous mythical character: PIKACHU! Did you know that the name Pikachu actually means something in Japanese? It combines two words: pikapika, which is the sound of sparking, and chuchu, which is the verbalization of squeaking. This lightening mouse and plant imp-kin had much fun discussing the power that comes from their names. How do you connect to your name?
