Have you ever looked around and wondered—why doesn’t everyone feel the same urgency I do? Especially when it comes to the state of our beloved planet.
That’s exactly what filmmaker Ashley Stokes was grappling with when she set out to make Good Natured, a new PBS documentary exploring eco-anxiety, eco-grief, and the deep connection between nature and our future.
She felt isolated in her worry about the planet, surrounded by people who didn’t seem to share her concern. But through her journey, she discovered something profound—there is hope. There are people working toward change. And there is beauty in taking action, even in the smallest ways.
🌿 Last week, I had the incredible honor of attending the premiere of Good Natured—and I am deeply humbled to be featured in this film. My message is simple but vital: we are not separate from nature—we are nature. Our path forward in a changing climate isn’t just about resilience, it’s about remembering our place in the Web of Life and learning to co-create with the world around us.

If this documentary moves you, don’t keep it to yourself—share it far and wide! 🌍Request your local PBS station to add it to their programming, send it to friends, and spark conversations. The more people who see it, the more we can amplify the message that we’re not alone—and that hope, action, and change are possible. Let’s make this ripple into something bigger! 💚🎥
