TRANSCRIPT OF EP.71 WHEN PURSLANE COMES INTO YOUR LIFE
WEBVTT
1
00:00:03.660 –> 00:00:14.449
Hello, Hello, everyone! Welcome back to another episode of reconnect with plant wisdom. It’s me Tigrilla Gardenia. I am
2
00:00:15.470 –> 00:00:32.209
really. Oh, words! Words! I always think I have all the words clear in my head before I start recording, and then I hit the record button, and for a second everything just escapes and goes away, and I feel blank. But it’s because I get
3
00:00:32.409 –> 00:00:44.369
this rush from the plants that I’m working with in this particular episode. And it’s almost like all of the human words, get jumbled with all the plants
4
00:00:45.320 –> 00:01:07.200
language. Let’s call it language for a second, because I think that that makes the most amount of sense, and then for a minute there, I it takes me a minute to like, put it all together. And this is an episode that is definitely that way. Because in this episode I am specifically talking about one plant that I’m working very closely with in this particular moment. And so this is episode 71.
5
00:01:07.560 –> 00:01:10.049
When purslane comes into your life.
6
00:01:10.840 –> 00:01:28.869
Welcome to reconnect with plant wisdom. I’m your host, Tigrilla Gardenia, nature inspired mentor and leadership coach in this podcast I share ancient and modern knowledge from biology to spirituality, about the wondrous ways in which plants can help you lead a naturally conscious life.
7
00:01:31.140 –> 00:01:32.460
Purslane
8
00:01:32.640 –> 00:01:48.500
Portoluca. There is so much to say about this plant, but I want to give you a little bit of history, because this is a plant that I have worked with multiple times over the last years, and it’s not the type of plant that I work with consistently
9
00:01:48.510 –> 00:01:54.409
for a long, long, long period. On the contrary, this is a plant that comes in waves
10
00:01:54.734 –> 00:02:11.199
a plant that really comes into my life when I specifically need it, and in a very wild way. So this is an important spirit, wild plant for those of you that have taken my spirit. Wild plant quiz for those who haven’t. I’ve put it into the show notes so you can find it there.
11
00:02:11.330 –> 00:02:17.580
But in my spirit wild Plant, quiz one of the plants you could be matched with is purslane.
12
00:02:17.650 –> 00:02:40.090
And when I was creating this quiz it all came from the individual interactions I was having with plants right? This was not a quiz that was done mentally, but it was the fruit of relationships that I had been building with various different spirit wild plants that then asked me to put together this opportunity
13
00:02:40.090 –> 00:02:55.590
for you to connect for them to be able to for Ken, to be able to more easily interact with you in a more direct way. And Purslane was one of the last plants that made it into the quiz. I mean, actually.
14
00:02:55.810 –> 00:03:05.110
the quiz is always changing. I actually am adding more plants and changing things around as I go. So Purslane was one of the last ones from the 1st round.
15
00:03:05.460 –> 00:03:23.300
and Purslane was a plant that at the time I was one of the few plants that I could easily recognize. I don’t know why I could always just see. Purslane, ki is a plant that has always been extremely present
16
00:03:23.380 –> 00:03:32.970
in various aspects of my life, but I knew nothing about this plant, so I didn’t recognize the importance of this. It was just
17
00:03:33.260 –> 00:03:49.390
one of those things that was. Oh, I was walking down the street, and I could see, oh, I know this plant like I’ve seen this plant before, because porcelain is a plant that I would run into regularly sidewalks, city streets, many different aspects of such.
18
00:03:49.970 –> 00:03:53.230
And then one day Plant Purslane was like.
19
00:03:53.950 –> 00:03:54.870
Hey.
20
00:03:55.050 –> 00:04:09.373
you and I keep bumping into one another. Let’s have a conversation about why this is happening. And that was the 1st time I ever sat down and really started to work with Purslane, and eventually made Purslane into the spirit wild Plant quiz. As a result of that. Now.
21
00:04:10.050 –> 00:04:25.949
over the years, I have kind of given a lot of space to these wild plants to sort of come in and out when are necessary, when I actually need their help. The most I really connect to all of these spirit wild plants in one way or another, and
22
00:04:26.180 –> 00:04:45.450
Purslane was one that I discovered multiple times. But specifically last year Purslane came into my life at a period where I was really not expecting it at all like I was not expecting to start this, and in the location. I didn’t. So I have a little balcony space
23
00:04:45.450 –> 00:04:59.410
that has various, you know, plants out there, and I always leave a little bit of space in the planters for just anybody who decides that they want to come to visit, and I’ve had many different visitors come over the years.
24
00:04:59.870 –> 00:05:03.019
and last year personally made an appearance
25
00:05:03.110 –> 00:05:06.260
in a period that oh.
26
00:05:07.210 –> 00:05:07.980
hmm!
27
00:05:08.080 –> 00:05:35.490
At first, st when I saw Purslane growing in one of these pots, I was asking myself I was like, how did purslane? Because I’m not on the 1st floor. I’m not down on the ground level. I’m higher up. So this balcony is pretty high up, and all of a sudden to see purslane in one of these pots was very surprising, because there’s no purslane around. This is in an area where I am in particular that has purslane already growing like, Oh, yeah, down the sidewalk, and therefore
28
00:05:35.490 –> 00:05:48.020
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Purslane in the surrounding area to my home, and so to see Percelaine in this pot really made me pause and stop and ask Percelaine, why are you here?
29
00:05:48.300 –> 00:05:51.649
And at that time I got a very clear answer.
30
00:05:51.670 –> 00:05:55.099
You need to be nourished.
31
00:05:55.940 –> 00:05:56.850
and
32
00:05:57.810 –> 00:06:05.459
it’s hard for me to sit back and try to explain to you everything that was happening in my life at the time I can give you a few snippets.
33
00:06:05.836 –> 00:06:11.559
But to understand that those words you need to be nourished, I’m here to help nourish you
34
00:06:12.060 –> 00:06:13.170
was
35
00:06:13.220 –> 00:06:17.920
like a breath of fresh air. It was all of a sudden a moment of
36
00:06:18.550 –> 00:06:20.099
of where I
37
00:06:20.980 –> 00:06:34.079
I literally almost melted into this plant. So, as you know, from a physiological perspective, if you go and you do any research on the physical aspects of Purslane purslane is an extremely nourishing plant.
38
00:06:34.080 –> 00:06:43.950
Perceline has a high level of Omega threes, which is not something that we normally find in plants. It’s 1 of the few plants that has a high level of Omega 3.
39
00:06:43.950 –> 00:07:08.360
And Key also has a whole series of antioxidants, vitamin a vitamin c melatonin. All these different antioxidants, and that really nourish the physical body. So you know, eating a cup of Purslane is one aspect of that nourishment, and I have to say most of the plants that I work with. I don’t necessarily
40
00:07:08.630 –> 00:07:23.810
work on the nutritional value, for example, but that was one of the messages that I got very clear from Purslane, which was, Hey, I am here in your balcony space, I will reproduce very quickly. Give me a minute
41
00:07:24.130 –> 00:07:46.730
to start to reproduce, and this nourishment is both physical as well as spiritual and emotional. So I want to nourish you now. At the time I was experiencing some issues with my lower back and my sciatica, which I had never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever had in my life. Therefore I didn’t know how to deal with it
42
00:07:46.730 –> 00:08:11.389
like I wasn’t somebody who habitually had had experiences with back pain or lower back pain, or any kind of different aspect. So I wasn’t sure. Is this like, do I move more? Is this about something else like what was going on. And so Purslane is actually a really great plant for inflammation, because the melatonin is really great to help you lower that inflammation, and I got
43
00:08:11.390 –> 00:08:19.379
a really clear sign from Perceline in that moment that this wasn’t about action, but it was about the opposite. It was about
44
00:08:19.470 –> 00:08:25.169
stopping, slowing down and giving myself the opportunity to be nourished.
45
00:08:25.290 –> 00:08:52.029
And that was one of the 1st clear messages like you’re trying to, because, you know, when you think about pain, depending on what kind of pain you have some pains. You you know that part of it is. Oh, I need to move more I need to stretch. I need to do all these, you know. I need to make sure that that muscle, for example, gets used not strenuously, but you know, gentleness and such, and I got a very clear message that the answer was, that is not where we’re going.
46
00:08:52.030 –> 00:08:55.929
You need rest, but you need rest.
47
00:08:56.000 –> 00:09:02.370
Physically, I’m I’m you’re being shown physically that you need rest. But it is not about that.
48
00:09:02.670 –> 00:09:10.720
Right now. You’re in hyperdrive. You’re dealing with a whole series of different things, and it is time for you to rest.
49
00:09:10.930 –> 00:09:32.650
And it was. It was like Strong, the message not only that Purslane also has, you know high levels of vitamin a and vitamin c, which were vitamin a for me always has been associated to my eyes, and something I have taken very good care of, and tried very hard to take care of, and in that moment I was so
50
00:09:33.350 –> 00:09:38.530
in need of rest. Let’s say it that way that my eyes even felt tired. It’s almost like
51
00:09:38.920 –> 00:09:57.350
like there was a clear sign that says, Close your eyes. This isn’t about rest in the perspective of go sit and read a book, or go and do something where you’re like. It’s not that kind of rest, it’s literally rest. It’s, you know. Also the melatonin is good for insomnia, for sleeping. It’s about rest.
52
00:09:57.720 –> 00:09:59.270
rest.
53
00:09:59.400 –> 00:10:08.620
you know, in this aspect of it also stop taking external like vitamin c. For example, in that particular moment.
54
00:10:08.670 –> 00:10:31.559
This was the case of what Perceline was telling me. I’m going to give you a series of things that you need, because we need to marry the physical to the spiritual. It’s so hard to put all these things into words, but it is important for us to recognize that when we give ourselves time to spend with these wild plants, with these spirit guides that are coming in in this moment to really support us.
55
00:10:31.560 –> 00:10:59.449
there is so much we get out of it when we take the time to listen. So what I started to do was to actually spend some time with Purslane, and really listen and ask the questions. So my rest time was done with purslane, in some cases so very gentle meditation, also just spending time, not going out and looking for Purslane. This wasn’t about activity. Purslane came to me
56
00:10:59.870 –> 00:11:03.950
personally and showed up and said, I am here.
57
00:11:04.090 –> 00:11:19.289
work with me. I want to be here to help you and support you. And it was amazing. It was an amazing, amazing experience, so much that I really remember that 1st day when I saw Purslane and got that message so clearly.
58
00:11:19.460 –> 00:11:30.200
and and then at some point after you know a few. I don’t even know how long it was. Maybe it was a month, or maybe a little bit more. All of a sudden person was gone.
59
00:11:30.510 –> 00:11:41.889
and none of the pots had Purslane anymore. The purslane that was there had dried and there wasn’t. It wasn’t. It felt like I had gotten the message. It felt
60
00:11:42.400 –> 00:11:43.480
complete.
61
00:11:43.610 –> 00:11:46.709
Like what was going on was
62
00:11:46.770 –> 00:11:53.180
had completed a cycle, and this had happened to me before several years before with Singing Nettle.
63
00:11:53.460 –> 00:12:09.770
which was really powerful in this case it was very different, because I kept encountering, stinging nettle every time I would go out. Every time I would go for a walk or a hike, or I would go to explore the valley, or even places far away I kept bumping into literally bumping, into which
64
00:12:09.790 –> 00:12:23.040
it’s not very nice to bump into stinging nettle. But I kept bumping into stinging nettle in multiple, different ways, and a whole other series of messages and work was happening from there in this particular case, like I said, because what I needed was rest.
65
00:12:24.138 –> 00:12:41.999
Purslane came to me, and Purslane showed up in my home. Mind you, I’ve had other spirit. Wild plants that show up in my home. As a matter of fact, right now, in addition to Purslane, there’s 2 others that have shown up, and that we’re working with on different aspects. But I’m not going to add that to the mix, because it becomes a little bit too much.
66
00:12:42.850 –> 00:12:43.960
So
67
00:12:44.060 –> 00:13:07.069
that was my work with Purslane last year, and I really did listen. My back healed, my sciatic healed. I’ve never had any issues since then. I do. I I do do physical work in order. Work work is not the right. I do physical activity specifically for that. To keep myself nimble. I’ve done a lot of other kinds of work and release and such like that. So Purslane really kicked off a process.
68
00:13:07.070 –> 00:13:29.849
but was very clear. That said, this isn’t about activity. Now you kick this process off by resting, by allowing the inflammation to come down by gathering up different aspects of yourself, by connecting into who you are and what is going on with you, and allowing your all aspects of yourself, all those sides, physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, all of that to rest.
69
00:13:30.060 –> 00:13:36.599
And then, from a place of rest, when Percelaine left, was the clear sign that said, You’re ready to go.
70
00:13:37.370 –> 00:13:48.110
and I still to this day appreciate so much that because I would have never given myself that kind of rest had it not been for what Purslane.
71
00:13:48.620 –> 00:13:50.429
you know, shared with me.
72
00:13:50.680 –> 00:13:51.730
So
73
00:13:52.200 –> 00:13:57.410
the other day, maybe about a week ago now I walked out onto my balcony.
74
00:13:57.520 –> 00:14:00.470
and sure enough, guess who is there?
75
00:14:01.210 –> 00:14:03.590
Yep, Purslane was back.
76
00:14:04.010 –> 00:14:19.450
but this time, personally it had a very different message. So before I share that message, I want to share with you one of our eco conscious business partners, because it’s thanks to them and the support you give to them that we’re able to continue with this podcast
77
00:14:20.740 –> 00:14:35.539
I think we can all agree that music is the true universal language in fact, what we think of as language is actually musicality, and I would argue that plants may be the greatest composers of all.
78
00:14:35.780 –> 00:14:44.090
By using the music of the plant’s device, plants are now able to share their healing and communicate with us in a language we can understand.
79
00:14:44.370 –> 00:14:56.540
Music of the plants now has different devices to experiment with. Whether you’re a musician looking to play along with your plant friends, a healer who wants to enhance their practice, or simply curious
80
00:14:56.780 –> 00:15:03.980
in the show notes you’ll find a link to purchase the right device for you such as this bamboo m.
81
00:15:03.990 –> 00:15:11.440
There are also all sorts of fun extras, such as downloadable interspecies, music and plant music, merchandise.
82
00:15:11.490 –> 00:15:19.559
So click on the link to the music of the plants in the show notes to discover how you can start making music with your plants today.
83
00:15:20.360 –> 00:15:25.540
So Purslane comes back this year. What is the message?
84
00:15:26.210 –> 00:15:42.860
And when I 1st saw Purslane, besides the fact that I was excited, you know I haven’t seen Purslane in more than a year, and to see Perceline growing again, and in this pace very differently. So last time Purslane was here, Purslane grew in kind of almost single
85
00:15:43.461 –> 00:15:53.370
single stems, not really single, but very long and like like, give yourself space and time. And now Purslane is growing
86
00:15:53.690 –> 00:16:03.320
in a much more bunched up way. It’s so hard for me to explain how but porcelain is growing altogether. I’ll add some pictures
87
00:16:03.720 –> 00:16:04.790
that’ll help
88
00:16:04.950 –> 00:16:05.755
and
89
00:16:06.800 –> 00:16:12.780
And so I sat with purslane like over the weekend, was saying, Okay, you’re back.
90
00:16:12.960 –> 00:16:21.609
What’s going on like, what? What’s happening here? What do I need? What? Where where are we going with this relationship now.
91
00:16:21.740 –> 00:16:26.499
And it was really interesting because the last year was about rest.
92
00:16:26.920 –> 00:16:32.340
This year is much more about the balance between activity and rest.
93
00:16:32.440 –> 00:16:46.969
In other words, in this period, normally I travel a lot more this year. I decided not to travel as much as I normally do. There’s things that are happening at dumb. And her I’ve got a new role. There’s other aspects that I felt was really important for me to be home.
94
00:16:47.000 –> 00:16:50.490
And normally, in this period. I’m not home. I’m not in Dom and her.
95
00:16:50.820 –> 00:16:51.910
So
96
00:16:52.070 –> 00:17:14.129
I’ve been struggling a little bit with the idea of. I have all of these different things that I want to take care of. But it’s also it’s very hot here right now. It’s summertime for me. It’s a period that I normally rest like last year, a lot more. So what’s going on? And personally, it was very clear with me that said, You’re home.
97
00:17:14.339 –> 00:17:31.660
because, yes, you have new things to birth, because it’s the end of the dom and hurrying year coming up at the end of August and the beginning of September. So we’re getting into the beginning of the new dom and hurrying year. There’s a desire for you to kick off many things, but
98
00:17:31.790 –> 00:17:43.860
you also need to rest. Remember this conversation from last time, so I’m here to help you find balance. I want to work with you to help you find a flow
99
00:17:43.950 –> 00:17:49.240
between these 2 things. Now I should go back and explain that many years ago.
100
00:17:49.510 –> 00:18:00.410
when I 1st left my corporate job, as you know, I used to work at Microsoft, I worked in that entire world of like software and development. It was very much everything. Go, go, go, go, go!
101
00:18:00.450 –> 00:18:03.179
And one of the things that I really
102
00:18:03.628 –> 00:18:09.199
worked on after I left that world was finding my own body rhythms.
103
00:18:09.280 –> 00:18:37.109
understanding how it is that my body works? When is the times when I’m most productive. When am I most inspired, and when, instead, are the times that it’s better for me to rest? For example, I’m a night owl. I love the night time, and I also like the mornings, which sounds contradictory, but it really is. The daytime for me is a time of rest and friends and experiences with other people and doing things differently.
104
00:18:37.220 –> 00:18:51.080
If I am working late at night or working very early in the morning, I’m extremely productive, and I have a lot of clarity and a lot of inspiration, and it’s just a natural flow that moves for me. But
105
00:18:51.140 –> 00:19:03.240
around lunchtime I shut down I that’s when I like to go out and have go out with my friends. Go, experience other things, read books like study time. This is not a time for me to be productive.
106
00:19:03.880 –> 00:19:14.899
and I had kind of almost forgotten that I was trying to push through. And because I have all these projects to work on. And so one of the things that Percelaine reminded me of was
107
00:19:15.060 –> 00:19:29.800
how my flow was, and whether or not I was actually in that flow, both for my personal rhythm. Right? Like I said, I’m a night owl as well as a morning person. Those are my 2 best times, but also the fact of
108
00:19:29.830 –> 00:19:38.080
the season that we’re in. This is summertime, and in in Italy, where I am. It is very hot right now, which means
109
00:19:38.460 –> 00:19:44.810
I have, you know, Cuban Spanish blood siestas, and I get along really well, so
110
00:19:45.260 –> 00:19:49.700
I should lean into my natural tendencies to do the siesta.
111
00:19:49.880 –> 00:19:52.180
So I’ve been enjoying siestas.
112
00:19:52.280 –> 00:19:59.110
I have been enjoying like having an early lunch, which is not very Spanish. Usually it’s a late lunch, but still.
113
00:19:59.180 –> 00:20:05.790
because I get up very early in the morning, having an early lunch, and then resting. I either take a nap
114
00:20:05.880 –> 00:20:08.540
or I go, and I spend time with some friends.
115
00:20:09.060 –> 00:20:10.780
or I take a walk.
116
00:20:10.830 –> 00:20:28.170
Actually, not so much the walk, because it’s been really hot, like, I said, but more spending time with friends and doing things. I might go to the pool, or we’re not near the ocean here. So it’s it’s really hard to go out to the sea. So the point being is that personally was telling me, Hey, it is okay
117
00:20:28.170 –> 00:20:48.019
for you to find a new balance where you work and not just work, but like your activity, time, your time when you’re really active, like churning through and getting things done and working on all these various projects that you’re working on, which are all passion projects.
118
00:20:48.140 –> 00:20:56.890
It’s okay for you to do them in these periods of time, and for you to have long periods of rest in the middle. And this was
119
00:20:57.540 –> 00:20:58.850
so
120
00:20:59.230 –> 00:21:11.990
empowering for me because I had forgotten it like it’s easy for us to get caught up in. Oh, I have to get all these things done, and it’s the end of the dumb and hurry in New Year, and I want to be able to have all these things done before the year ends. And
121
00:21:13.200 –> 00:21:18.150
but the reality is that me trying to push through things in the afternoon.
122
00:21:18.160 –> 00:21:20.270
I just wasn’t productive, anyway.
123
00:21:20.520 –> 00:21:41.500
so why not allow myself to be nourished in other ways? I nourish myself with sleep. I nourish myself, maybe sometimes with, you know again, friends, I nourish myself, sometimes even with distractions that help me kind of clear away the cobwebs and move into different in different directions. Maybe I study a little bit, but things that are light.
124
00:21:41.580 –> 00:21:42.650
and then
125
00:21:42.690 –> 00:22:11.540
I pick up again later on, and so sometimes in the evening, sometimes when I feel inspired, other times. No, because I go out with my friends, or I do other things. I love to cook. That’s really nourishing for me. And so I’ve been mixing in more nourishment, and I’ve been balancing better, flowing, more between activity and rest. And that’s a big lesson from Purslane. The other thing that Purslane really helps you do is rewrite your story.
126
00:22:11.930 –> 00:22:32.730
One of the things that I wasn’t doing as directly as I am now, until Percelaine kind of pointed it out for me. Was that reminder. This is the end of the Dominiarian year, and this end of summer period is a great time for you to sort of look again at where you are. You’ve
127
00:22:33.110 –> 00:22:57.330
you’ve spent all this time kind of evaluating, and then creating new projects and planning out, and we know that the autumn, that the the autumn season is a time of renewal. In some aspects there is a taking in of the nourishment that you have. That you have gathered that you have received throughout the year. So this is a really great time to kind of look at
128
00:22:57.360 –> 00:23:23.690
what parts of my creative life need to blossom and give them space to blossom again that whole balance between activity and rest. This isn’t about pushing it. This isn’t about sitting there like the springtime, that’s like, let’s do it. Let’s do it. Let’s do it. But this is more of it’s it’s hot. Let’s allow the things to move into the direction that they’re supposed to move into, and therefore from there we can see
129
00:23:24.060 –> 00:23:50.370
what what direction to take in the autumn. So it’s kind of like. This is a time for you to look at and rebound for me personally, and I think all of us have to find our personal rhythm connected to the seasons. For me this is a period, again of it’s lazier. It’s slower. It’s a time when it’s about soaking up rest and nourishment, and then
130
00:23:50.510 –> 00:24:05.329
carrying out some activities that really make you sweat it and move it, and and move the energy and writing that story, and then giving yourself time to reflect on it and writing it, and giving yourself time to reflect on it and writing it. And that’s what works for me.
131
00:24:05.890 –> 00:24:08.780
What Purslane was trying to say to me was.
132
00:24:08.930 –> 00:24:14.500
you need to find your personal rhythm between activity and rest.
133
00:24:14.790 –> 00:24:21.470
and you need to see how that changes the story you are writing about your life.
134
00:24:21.510 –> 00:24:26.430
your life story. How does it change? Where is it today?
135
00:24:26.500 –> 00:24:29.700
Have you given it space to really bloom.
136
00:24:30.180 –> 00:24:32.219
and these are some of the important
137
00:24:32.290 –> 00:24:39.560
pieces that purslane brings up. So last year it was about nourishment right? I needed to be nourished, and that still is a part of it right
138
00:24:39.970 –> 00:24:55.650
personally, is making sure that I am nourishing myself, that I am taking the time that I need for myself. This is still an important aspect, and to make sure that I am taking in all the different types of nourishment that are important to me.
139
00:24:55.880 –> 00:24:59.779
and at the same time this particular round
140
00:25:00.050 –> 00:25:18.059
purslane wants to make sure that the flow between these activity and rest, between writing and reading, and between moving and creating and actually evaluating that creation. All of this flow is really moving at a pace
141
00:25:18.280 –> 00:25:19.886
that is
142
00:25:20.720 –> 00:25:23.789
tailored, aligned for myself.
143
00:25:24.170 –> 00:25:32.709
And that is really a strong message of Purslane, also a reminder to take in lots of water, because, you know, purslane is a succulent.
144
00:25:35.300 –> 00:25:47.640
so it is important to take in that water, but also water, as in emotional water, flow of life, allowing those emotions to flow through you, taking them in
145
00:25:47.730 –> 00:25:51.889
and then allowing them to be inside of you again in that rest.
146
00:25:52.350 –> 00:25:57.509
holding that, and also in that activity period in the use of it.
147
00:25:57.850 –> 00:26:11.519
right? So moving between the 2 is extremely important. And this was something that personally wanted me to remember, you know. Take in all those emotions. I’ve been talking a lot about emotions in various
148
00:26:11.520 –> 00:26:28.659
different episodes of the podcast and also so much in the naturally conscious community. Because right now, emotions are at an all time high, like in the sense that we’re really feeling them, and Purslane wants me to feel them, but wants me to flow with them, to take them in.
149
00:26:28.890 –> 00:26:45.619
and then to also use them. Take in use, and then really give yourself space, that when you take them in you’re also evaluating them. Where are they? What’s going on? What do I need? And then using them, or even expelling them. Right activity, rest.
150
00:26:45.880 –> 00:26:57.319
right use, and containment. All of this different flow between the masculine and the feminine energy. And all of this is part of the conversations that I’m having.
151
00:26:57.340 –> 00:27:11.069
how to do it, when to do it, where to do it. All of that is part of what I discuss with personally now on a regular basis, sometimes by ingestion, sometimes through meditation, sometimes through just
152
00:27:11.100 –> 00:27:26.559
sitting in Percelaine’s aura and Percelaine’s presence, sometimes through art, and through all the different types of techniques, some of which are in the Mini voyage with plants. Right? If you go and you look at the Mini voyage with plants, you can take a Mini voyage with
153
00:27:26.650 –> 00:27:36.409
Purslane. And again, the links for that are all in the show notes, because that Mini voyage gives you the opportunity to focus your time specifically with Purslane.
154
00:27:36.770 –> 00:27:48.830
and then with all the others that you can, too. And so it really teaches you some basic techniques to be able to enter into this conversation which is so important. It’s so important for us and so important for our growth.
155
00:27:49.040 –> 00:28:09.460
So I’m really enjoying this time with purslane. Because again, it’s very different from the way it was last time. And it’s exciting to continuously develop this relationship and to have this type of of spirit guide that comes, I know, will come when I need key most.
156
00:28:09.630 –> 00:28:37.849
and who is also introducing me to some other spirit guides, because, like, I said. There’s 2 other plants that have shown up for the 1st time this year in a very strong way, and these 2 plants are plants that I’ve never worked with before. So when I saw Percelaine, percelaine at 1st was in a different pot, like saying, Work with me, and then at 1 point Percelaine showed up in a different pot. That’s in my balcony space, and said, Hey, these 2 over here that you’ve kind of been ignoring. Don’t ignore them.
157
00:28:37.850 –> 00:28:49.369
Don’t ignore them. Let’s all work together. I want to introduce you to them, because I feel like it’s really important for you to also get to know Ken, and to benefit from this relationship, because
158
00:28:49.380 –> 00:29:04.310
kin are going to be here more than I am. I’m here only for a specific purpose, and then I’m going to go, but Ken will be here for much more of the year, so I want you to spend more time. This is important, and and almost feel like
159
00:29:05.070 –> 00:29:31.190
like Purslane was being not just a guide from the perspective of guiding me directly through the messaging that Purslane had, but also guide in the sense of introducing me to other areas for me to expand and grow into. And I’ve never worked with Purslane in that way before. So it was also something that was very new, and it took it took a minute actually to to get there. To be honest, it took me a minute to understand that that’s what was happening.
160
00:29:31.320 –> 00:29:32.140
So
161
00:29:32.340 –> 00:29:37.140
in general, when you see wild plants pop into your life.
162
00:29:37.740 –> 00:30:05.630
take that as a sign. Right, take it as an opportunity for you to enter into a relationship that is not necessarily the same relationship you’ve always had. It’s a relationship that’s based on where you are today. It’s a continuation of the cycle of the relationship you are evolving. The plants are evolving, and therefore the messages that are coming to you are going to be different, and the relationship between both of you is going to be very different.
163
00:30:05.630 –> 00:30:24.669
Give yourself space and time to actually move through this relationship and ask the question, Why are you here today? Is it the same as last time? Is it different? Is there something new we want to work on together and to give yourself the opportunity to evaluate how that plant
164
00:30:24.670 –> 00:30:42.389
enters into your life as a guide in any different aspect, physical, spiritual, psychological, emotional, like really open the door to these wild plants, to the guidance that they have. Remember, these wild plants are extremely resilient, something we
165
00:30:42.460 –> 00:30:52.609
need so much right now we so need resilience. They are spontaneous, they have a wildness to them still.
166
00:30:52.950 –> 00:30:56.880
and they are plans that have learned to adapt
167
00:30:57.100 –> 00:31:00.919
or to adapt so for for kin to adapt
168
00:31:01.020 –> 00:31:22.949
their bodies, for where exactly they’re showing up, but also to adapt and change the environment to what they need. Each one of them has different characteristics that could really help you on your path. So take the time to listen, to sit with, to absorb, and also to act
169
00:31:23.190 –> 00:31:38.239
on what it is that you’re receiving, and if you have any questions at all, or you need any support through this, you know that I’m here. You can come into the naturally conscious community. You can contact me directly, and we can have a discussion about what is happening.
170
00:31:38.240 –> 00:31:53.389
Who is showing up for you? Why, they are showing up, and how you can expand and deepen this relationship to get the maximum benefit of what these plants have to offer, because they really do have so so much to offer.
171
00:31:53.390 –> 00:31:54.160
so
172
00:31:54.470 –> 00:32:19.310
