Tigrilla Gardenia and Judy Machado talk Cacao

Why Cacao is Ripping Off Ki’s Sugary Mask

In our latest episode of the podcast, I had the pleasure of chatting with Judy Machado about the transformative power of Master Teacher Cacao.

In a particularly thought-provoking flash, we explore the idea that evolving tastes towards less refined cacao might signify a deeper shift within humanity. As we gravitate towards cacao nibs and high-percentage chocolate, could this indicate that humans—as a collective—are moving past the need for sugary anesthesia?

Our changing tastes just might be allowing us to connect with and express more authentic parts of ourselves through a purer contact with Cacao!

I invite you to watch this intriguing video extract and join us in pondering this connection.

This fascinating perspective suggests that Cacao, as a plant, is ready to reveal its true essence without being masked by excessive sweetness. It’s as if cacao is saying, “I no longer need to be watered down. I can show you my true self.”

Immerse yourself in the full episode to learn how working with plants like cacao can help you embody your own true essence more authentically:

My neighbors have come out to play:

Despite the unusually cold weather, my neighbors, two Marginated Tortoises (Testudo marginata), are shaking off the winter sluggishness. These little ones usually brumate when it’s cold, so I was excited to see them out having fun with the plants. They just love all the high grasses, as do I!
