Happy Friday, what are your weekend plans?
I am super excited to be facilitating two big sessions for Damanhurian initiates around the world. It’s part of our summer MeditAction program, and I’ve been prepping all week. It’s an inclusive program with lots of interactions across five languages and five continents!
The goal? To improve how we structure our lives and our connections to each other in order to accomplish our big mission for humanity!
While I prep and host our NCC events, I am thrilled to announce the latest episode of the podcast, featuring the inspiring Evgenia Emets!!
In Episode 67, “Eternal Forest,” Evgenia delves into her personal experiences with plants. She sheds light on the profound impact of shifting perspectives, collaboration, and respect in co-creating with the natural world. Our conversation explores the interconnectedness of all consciousness and the transformative potential of healing through a deep reconnection with nature.
Evgenia Emets, an international artist and poet, passionately shares the role of the artist’s voice in fostering human-plant relationships. She’s dedicated to forest ecology and community through visual art, films, artist’s books, and large-scale ecological artworks. Her works and books are showcased in museums, libraries, and private collections across the UK, Europe, Japan, and Russia.

Evgenia emphasizes that plants are aware of how we perceive the world and can attune kin’s information to us. Shifting our perspective to align human time with forest time can foster a more profound relationship with the beings of nature.
And this allows for a more collaborative and respectful co-creation with the natural world—enhancing our understanding and appreciation of the expansive capabilities of all beings, including ourselves.

Reflections from Artemisia’s Wisdom
Having a beautiful meadow and river right outside my office windows is a blessing. Every day, I look out to see sparrows playing and Gherry the Silver fir holding space. A quick jot down, there is a giant grove of Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris). Every time I pass, kin call me in with whispers to sooth my soul and provide much-needed medicine. We only started working together at the Solstice, but already, I have learned so much…
