Have you ever felt like the people around you just don’t get what you see so clearly? Like you’re speaking a language no one understands?
I’ve lived with that feeling for most of my life. Just the other day, I was expressing what to me was this super deep and revelatory concept to a friend—in Italian, no less—and he just kept staring at me with a blank face. He couldn’t see the vision I thought I was laying out so clearly! It can be frustrating—like shouting into the void.
But here’s the thing: Nature does this all the time.
In places where two ecosystems meet—like where the forest touches the shore or the desert blends into the grassland—entirely new species emerge. These “ecotones” are where transformation happens. It is the place of fervent innovation, where the most adaptable and pioneering beings thrive.
Just because others don’t yet see the world the way you do doesn’t mean you’re wrong. It means you’re ahead. It means you’re evolving.
